Fred Fouquet has been at the helm of a great many projects that have made cultural impacts in the last 20 years, including commercials, feature films, music videos, documentaries, film title sequences & online content.

He’s been a go-to editor for Super Bowl and other high profile spots, and has won Cannes Lions, Clios, Andys, Monitors, Tellys, Broadcast Design International Awards, MTV video awards, Ad Age “best editing”, among others.

There have been over 3.6 billion views of his music videos and online content.

He helped to concept, and then edited the 1st scene of "Pacific Rim".

He edited on the iconic Mac vs. PC campaign, which was named "Best Campaign of the Decade" by Adweek.

Fred’s known for quickly creating a fresh point of view to a project right out of the gate.  After that, his goal is to have fun collaboratively working the material with other creative voices to take it to the next level.

Directors have appreciated that Fred takes on the editorial process as another filmmaker.  He becomes a trusted creative partner in elevating an idea.  His extensive knowledge of visual effects and camera techniques has become a resource before, during and after the shoot day.  Fred regularly edits on set, which becomes a perfect time where director, ad agency & client are all in one place for quick conversations and decisions.

FREDITOR EDITORIAL works remotely with ad agencies and production companies all over the world utilizing the highest quality remote collaboration tools, maximizing everyone's time and energy toward the creative.

Fred graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA (Film, Photography & Visual Arts)

He still has as much excitement for filmmaking as he did in high school and has stayed true to what initially drew him to it.

His high school senior yearbook quote:

“Technical knowledge is not enough.  One must transcend technique, so that the art grows from the unconscious.”
